Aan diegene die hoort of leest,  Tot geloof komen is iets wat mensen bezighoudt en wat vaak ook theologische zwaarte kent. Het kan ook een vraag oproepen: is geloof mijn keuze, of Gods werk? Efeze 2:8-9, dat we zojuist gelezen hebben, geeft een duidelijk antwoord: het geloof waardoor gelovigen in Christus behouden worden, is een gave van God.
